Specific Terms for Students and Parents:
1. Withdrawal Rights: You may withdraw from any tuition sessions by emailing [email protected] within 14 days of submitting an application. Withdrawals through text messages, social media, or phone calls are not considered valid. After 14 days, withdrawal is no longer possible, and the terms below will apply.
2. Early Session Commencement: If tuition starts within the 14-day withdrawal period, you waive your right to withdraw for sessions that have already taken place.
3. Rescheduling and Cancellations: Cancellations or rescheduling of booked slots must be requested at least 48 hours in advance via email to [email protected]. Illness-related rescheduling requests must include a scanned medical certificate. Cancellations through text messages, social media, or phone calls are invalid. Missed sessions will be billed, and additional sessions cannot be canceled once booked.
4. Closure of Communication Channels After Scheduled Sessions For all scheduled lessons, communication channels (e.g., Skype chats) will remain open for a duration of 15 to 30 minutes after the completion of the last booked session to accommodate download of material. After this period, the communication channels will be closed unless another session is booked. If further assistance is required, clients are encouraged to book an additional session by contacting us directly.
5. Termination of Ongoing Classes: For indefinite-term classes, you must notify us by email at least three weeks in advance to terminate ongoing sessions. Text messages, social media, or phone calls are not considered valid forms of termination. Lessons within this period are billable, regardless of attendance.
6. Late Payments and Fees: Failure to pay within:
* 10 working days incurs a EUR 25 administration fee.
* 20 working days incurs a EUR 50 administration fee.
* 30 working days incurs an 8% annual interest on the due amount.
7. Refund Policy: Cancellations are subject to a 50% fee or EUR 500, whichever is lower. For students receiving notes, an additional EUR 75 covers the cost of these materials. This fee cannot be converted into tuition credit.

Classes with Definite End Dates:
1. Refunds: No refunds are provided for courses with a set duration of nine months or less, regardless of attendance.
2. Business Courses: For business-related courses, including specific courses such as Data Science for Business, refunds are not provided, regardless of attendance.
3. Course Transfers Due to School Closures: Should in-person sessions be suspended, lessons will continue online.
4. Non-Payment of Lessons: If payments are not made before the end of the current tuition period, lessons will not be provided.
5. Booking Confirmation: Course bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance, with payment confirmation 24 hours before the session. Failure to confirm payment will result in the session being canceled.

Discounts
Our standard rates are €30 per hour for one-to-one online classes and €35 per hour for in-home one-to-one classes. These rates may occasionally be discounted, subject to specific conditions. Discounted rates of €14 per hour for one-to-one online classes and €25 per hour for in-home one-to-one classes are exclusively available to students who:

1. Commit to a full academic year of classes.
2. Submit their request during November or December, with lessons continuing until May or June of the following year.

For students who book lessons for shorter durations or outside the specified months, the full standard rates will apply.

Please note that the three-week termination notice policy does not apply to discounted classes, as students benefiting from the discounted rates are required to honor their commitment for the full academic period.

Should a student choose to discontinue classes before the end of the agreed academic period, for any reason, the following conditions will apply:

*The difference between the discounted rate and the standard rate will be charged for all attended lessons.
*An additional three-week cancellation period will be charged at the standard rate, regardless of whether the student attends the lessons during this period.

The total outstanding amount must be settled in full within three days of cancellation.

Online Lessons:

Recording of online lessons is prohibited unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by both tutor and student. Unauthorized recordings may lead to legal action.

Public Holidays: Lessons do take place on public holidays unless specifically discussed.

Your use of this website and any disputes arising from such use are governed by the laws of Malta.
